For me there is no better Bollywood science fiction film then 1967”s WAHEN KE LOG…this movie is awesome all the way…from Laxmi Chhaya’s dancing, Bela Bose’s vamping, spacemen, reptilian hands reaching out, flying saucers, and N. A. Ansari and Nilofer’s take on Tana and Eros from PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE.
Of course having not seen BENGAL 1983, ROCKET TARZAN, MISS CHAAL BAAZ, FLYING MAN, ATOM BOMB, or the dozens of other early Hindi sci fi films not yet available on DVD, I don’t have much to compare this one to, but still, it is great fun!! And the music numbers are totally addicting.
